Credits, Payments, and Receipts
What is a Credit?
- Credits represent a 1:1 value with the AR token and can be used to upload data to ArDrive.
Can I view my Credits balance on Viewblock or Wander?
- Credits are specific to ArDrive and can only be viewed and used in ArDrive.
Which currencies can I pay in?
- USD with additional currencies being added soon.
Can I get a copy of my receipt?
- All receipts are provided by Stripe and are sent to those that provide their email during check out.
Can I pay with any credit or debit card?
- We accept all major credit and debit cards. Purchase restrictions may be implemented by your card provider or country of origin.
Do the value of Credits ever change?
- Credits have the same storage purchasing power as AR.
Do you keep my credit card info?
- No. ArDrive keeps a record of your public wallet address, the amount purchased and used Credits when purchases occur. All credit card purchases are processed by Stripe, learn more about their policies here.
Can I use Credits elsewhere on the permaweb?
- Credits can be used with any apps on Arweave that accept Turbo.
Refunds, Transfer, & Exchanges
Can I get a refund for my Credit purchase?
- All sales of Credits are final. When a Credits are purchased, ArDrive holds that balance of AR to cover the cost of data uploaded.
Do Credits expire?
- Yes. Credits expire 12 months (1 year) after the date of purchase. See our Terms of Service for details.
Can I transfer Credits to another wallet?
- No, Credits are non-transferable.
Can I exchange my Credits for AR?
- No, ArDrive is not a crypto exchange and Credits cannot be returned or exchanged.
Do I get my Credits back if my Turbo upload fails?
- You will not be charged for any failed uploads. If you believe you have been charged please contact the ArDrive team.
