Create An Arweave Wallet With ArDrive

Using ArDrive requires an Arweave Wallet and creating a wallet is easy with ArDrive.

  1. Visit app.ardrive.io and click “New User? Get Started here”.

  2. We will walk you through a few things that may be new to you compared to other apps in the signup process.

  3. A 12 word seed phrase and keyfile are generated with the option to download the keyfile.

  4. Write down the seed phrase & store it in a secure location.

  5. Confirm the seed phrase by providing the words ArDrive asks for in order to download the keyfile.

  6. Download your keyfile and keep it in a safe place.

  7. Create and confirm a password that you will use with your seed phrase or keyfile if you create a private Drive.

    NOTE: The seed phrase cannot be recovered by anybody. The keyfile can be recovered by using the seed phrase in ArDrive or another wallet service like Wander.
