Fund Your Wallet

There are two ways to purchase permanent storage with ArDrive:

  1. ArDrive Turbo: use a credit or debit card to buy Credits.

ArDrive Turbo is an upload service that makes it simple to pay for permanent storage without managing AR directly. In the app, use the Turbo top-up flow to add Credits to your wallet.

  1. Arweave Tokens (AR): use AR from your Arweave wallet.

ArDrive is based on the Arweave network and the $AR token is used to pay the global network of operators who secure the network & provide storage.

If you choose to use AR, buy it through an exchange or swap service that is available in your region, then transfer the AR to your Arweave wallet address. Always verify wallet addresses carefully before sending funds.
